The original watercolour painting was scanned at very high resolution to create this superior quality giclée print, true to the painting in size and colour. The giclée process, on archival paper with pigment-based inks, results in an extremely long lasting print.

I chose to paint the goldfinch on a sprig of prickly gorse, because those vibrant yellow flowers picked up the yellow flashes on the wings of this beautifully colourful bird.

The print is available in a limed wooden frame (26 x 26 x 2cm ), or in a textured ivory mount (23 x 23 cm) ready for a frame of your choice.
